This week a federal judge struck down Proposition 8 - allowing Gay couples the right to be married in California.  In celebration of this momentous occasion, I’m posting the wedding of Tika and Carrie, who were my first same-sex couple…and now I know will not be my last!

I respect a person’s right to have their own moral compass and religious beliefs. But I hold fast to the idea that in spite of one’s personal beliefs that everyone should be entitled to the same rights and privileges. Every person should have the right to love whom they chose and the right, if they so desire, to have a beautiful and unique wedding!

I’d like to give a special thank you to all my fantastic vendors, Commerce Florist, Lifetime Images Photography and BBJ Linens, who treated Tika and Carrie with respect and enthusiasm. You made their dreams come true!
