Hullabaloo Goes Hollywood!
We had a viewing party for my episode of Battle of The Wedding Designers! It was such a great time! I had the party at my house - but just because it’s at home, doesn’t mean it can’t be well designed! I chose to throw a glamorous cocktail party to celebrate. I’m excited to show you what we did.
This is in the entry way - I always like to start the experience for any event right when you walk in the door!

That’s our table design. Nothing says Glamour like orchids!

You can’t have a cocktail party without cocktails! I did a full bar, plus signature cocktails Pomegranate Martinis, and champagne of course!

I had to show this! Annie of Flite Design brought me a bottle of wine - but check out the gorgeous tag, I love it!
A few tips for a great cocktail party, have it later in the evening so guests can relax at home first. Have an awesome playlist, with something for everyone! Music really sets the mood. Always have plenty of ice on hand, and non-alcoholic drinks too. I love to serve comfort food at cocktail parties, so we had white cheddar mac and cheese, crabcakes and roasted shrimp, plus nibblers, like veggies and pita chips. For me no celebration is complete with out dessert, so after we watched the episode I served Coconut Cake and strawberries with homemade whip cream.
I want to thank all my great friends and vendors for coming and celebrating with us! Annie with Flite Design, who did the incredible invitations for the show that didn’t get televised! (Sorry Annie), http://www.flitedesign.com/
And Steven and Carmen, the most incredibly fun and talented Photographers http://stevenlamphotography.com/
Thanks Guys for coming!
