Operation White Plate
We had the pleasure of working with Marcel on his new television show Marcel’s Quantum Kitchen airing on Syfy. He’s literally a food genius and sometimes when you’re working with someone who’s brilliant creatively, it can conflict with your own vision (Hence Operation White Plate!). But it is my job, to not only fight for the client’s vision but also to know when to yield. No design perspective is more important than a successful event. Gregg and Karen were a dream to work with, with one of the most beautiful and unique love stories I’ve ever heard. It reminded me of a fairytale…and that’s where the inspiration came from for our design, storybook romance, with a healthy dose of Italian Renaissance…Romeo and Juliet, without the tragedy. Here are a few more images from Gregg and Karen’s Engagement Dinner…enjoy.

I want to thank all the incredible vendors who made the event so beautiful. The jaw-dropping florals were created by the fantastically talented Eddie Zaratsian of tic-tock Couture Florals.
The stunning Silk-Wrapped, Ruby adorned Storybook Menus were fashioned by the insanely divine Annie Carolin (pictured above) of Flite.
All of the rentals came from the wonderful team at Classic Party Rentals.
It really does take a ridiculously talented and patient team to pull off any event and I’m so lucky to have worked with the best.
Grazie my loves!!
